Youngsville - Norman Joseph Guidry age 89, of Youngsville passed away with his family by his side. Norman was born on November 25, 1934 to Alcide Guidry of Des Allemands and Anita Leblanc of Lock Port. He graduated from L.H. High School and went on to Spencer Business College for his career as an accountant. He worked for McDermott Diving Corporation for 27 years and eventually retired from Giacona Container Corporation. Norman is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years Jeannette A Guidry, brother Lawrence Guidry and sister's Aline M Guidry and Gladys Savoie. He is survived by his two loving daughters Dawn Ozenne (Everett) of Broussard and Paige Marie Guidry of Youngsville, also five grandchildren, Erron D Pujol Jr. (Alora), Anthony Joseph Aguilera, Kyle Pujol, Lindsey Hancox, Blaise Anthony Guidry and Chloe Ozenne. Four great grandchildren, Rhea Fay Aguilera, Mara Hancox, Wren Hancox and River Michael Guidry. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan who never missed a game since they started. He was a devoted husband and father. The best father anyone could wish for. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his sports on TV with his little dog Izzy. He loved to eat good food, He was very comical and was always there for his family until the end. He will be deeply missed but the memories he gave us will be cherished forever. We love you daddy RIP. A memorial in Norman's honor will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 1-4 PM at Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services located at 121 Park Center Dr. Broussard, La.
