Pecola Renear Alexander

Lafayette – Pecola Alexander. With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Pecola Renear Alexander, affectionately known as "B0," at the age of 37. Pecola departed this life on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was born on May 5, 1987, to the union of Kenired and Lottie Alexander in St. Martinville, Louisiana. Pecola was preceded in eternal life by her beloved mother, Lottie F. Alexander; maternal grandparents, Ida Williams and N.G. Cola; paternal grandparents, Pecola Alexander and Robert Gedward; and her niece, Israeia Alexander. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and warmth that will forever be cherished by her father, Kenired Alexander Sr. of St. Martinville, LA; her three children, Reginald Little Jr., NyJayla & James Ross III; brothers, Kenired Jr. and Courtney Alexander; Devoted sisters Dianthia & Idalisa Alexander, her devoted uncle, Clayton (Anna) Cola; nephews, Jacolby, Jakenired, Jaundre Alexander, Michael Allen Jr., Quinn Jr, and Isaiah Washington; nieces, Trennifer Stanley, Qurinn, and Iniah Washington; great-nephews, Jacob Alexander and Malakhi Allen; great-nieces, Jordan Alexander and Malayiah Allen; as well as her devoted friends, Trenea Bavah and Natalie Cole. Pecola's love for her family and friends was immeasurable. She was the heart and soul of all who knew her, radiating kindness, compassion, and an infectious spirit. To have known Pecola was to love her, as she had an undeniable gift of making everyone feel special and loved in return. Her life, though brief, was filled with moments of joy, laughter, and warmth that will live on forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. A devoted mother, sister, daughter, and friend, Pecola's absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. Yet, her memory will continue to inspire and guide all who carry her love in their hearts. May Pecola rest in peace, forever surrounded by love.
