Phyllis Segura Bourque

New Iberia - Phyllis Bourque. Funeral mass will be held for Phyllis S. Bourque, 74, on Monday November 4, 2024 at 2:00pm at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia. Father Randy Courville will be the celebrant. Inurnment will follow at St. Marcellus Cemetery, in Rynella. Phyllis S. Bourque, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024 after a courageous battle with ALS. Born July 28, 1950, Phyllis lived the majority of her life in the White Oaks area near Avery Island. The true embodiment of JOIE DE VIVRE, Phyllis was fun loving and loved people. Her good humor and generous spirit touched everyone she met. She was known for her boundless kindness and infectious laughter. Phyllis is survived by her loving companion Carl Morein, her beloved sister Gail Frederick (Gilbert), her sons Cody and Jory Bourque, and her granddaughters Haigan Bourque and Madison Hebert. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary H. Segura, her father Burnice J.(Coon) Segura, Sr., her brothers Burnice J.(Buddy) Segura Jr., and Keith F. Segura.
