Phyllis Mae Schultz

New Iberia, Louisiana - Phyllis Mae Schultz, passed away peacefully at the age of 72 on May 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Phyllis will always be loved and forever remembered by her kind giving heart, her amiable spirit, and her unconditional unwavered love for her whole family and all of her friends. Phyllis was born on October 31, 1952, in Callao, Virginia, to Carrington W. Brann and Annie E. Mahan. Phyllis lived a fulfilled life guided by compassion and enriched by kindness. She especially treasured her daily walks with her beloved fur baby, Mossy, her faithful companion and cherished friend. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Sindra Picard and husband Ryan; her sister, Thelma Birt; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends-all of whom she loved deeply and who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nathan Thomas Schultz; her brother, Robert Brann; and her sister, Patricia Goodspeed.
