Abbeville – Randall David Roy age 54. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randall David Roy on February 7, 2025. Randy was a loving brother, an amazing father of four, a cherished pop, and an extraordinary man who left a lasting impact on everyone he met. There truly aren’t enough words to fully describe the spirit and legacy that Randy leaves behind. Randy’s work ethic and devotion to his family were unmatched. He poured his heart into everything he did, and his unwavering love for his children and grandchildren was a constant in his life. He is survived by his beloved children, Lyndsi Brasseux and husband Tyler, Kayle Guidry and husband Jayce, Zac Roy and wife Londyn, and Khoty Roy, along with their mother Rachel Bourque Roy. He was a proud grandfather to his cherished grandchild, Rowan Brasseux. Randy’s sisters—Angie Roy, Davina (Dino) Roy, DeDe Roy, Natalie Citrano and husband Travis, and Racheal Roy—were his constant support and source of love throughout his life. He was a true family man, always there to offer a helping hand or a listening ear. In addition to his immediate family, Randy leaves behind his Godparents, Adam "Chuck" Toups and Frances Toups, his best friend Brodie Champagne, and his beloved pets Roxie and Zoey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom will miss his infectious smile and unwavering kindness. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Toups, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. Though Randy has passed from this world, his love, laughter, and strength will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will live on through his children, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
