Ray Allen Landry, 66, passed away on March 24, 2026, at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Ray was a man who truly lived life on his own terms. Known as a “rebel without a cause,” he had a free spirit and a personality that drew people in wherever he went. He was the life of the party, always ready with a story, a laugh, or a good time. Ray loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, happiest when he was on the water with a line cast and nowhere else to be.
He spent many years working in the tree cutting business, where his strong work ethic and go-getter attitude were evident to everyone who knew him. Ray was not one to sit still—he stayed busy, worked hard, and lived fully.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ray is survived by his children, Levi Trahan, Shannon Landry and wife Trisha, and Leah Trahan Domingue and husband, Damian; his siblings, Patricia Meaux, Steve Landry, and Ricky Landry; and his cherished grandchildren, Hailey Blanchard, Reece Landry, Kylon Leger, Kameran Landry, Kason Comeaux, Braxton Trahan, Avery Collins, and Grace Landry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Landry and Verna Thomas.
Ray’s memory will live on through the many stories, laughs, and moments he shared with family and friends.
