Ricky Wayne Anderson

Lafayette - Ricky Wayne Anderson, age 70, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Originally from Stephens, Arkansas, Ricky made Lafayette, Louisiana his home for the past 35 years. During that time, he built a life filled with faith, family, and friendship. A devoted member of Riverside Church of Christ, Ricky’s strong faith and kind heart touched the lives of many in his community. Ricky was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who always put his family first. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Beth Anderson; his sons, Joshua Travis Anderson, Jordan Bryant Anderson, Parrish Lawton Anderson, and Joshua Travis Anderson Jr.; and his daughter, Misty Lannette Anderson. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Noah, Sofia, Lily, Xayna, and Lana, who brought him immense joy and pride. Ricky will be remembered for his warmth, his quiet strength, and the deep love he showed to all who knew him. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his faith and the memories he leaves behind will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
