Lafayette - A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday November 13, 2021 to remember Robert Pernell Baker 57, at 307 Marseilles Dr. in Lafayette. Inurnment will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday December 11, 2021 in the Veterans Section of Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery 2300 North University Avenue in Lafayette. Robert was born in Crowley Louisiana on March 13 1964 to Wilkins and Martha McDonald Baker, he was of the Baptist faith, a Veteran of the United States Army and was a Process Operator at Ventura Foods, He loved his family, detailing cars, cutting grass, watching sports and working hard. Robert had a work ethic like no other. Robert is Preceded in death by his mother, Martha M. Baker, he is survived by his wife Cassandra Baker of Lafayette, Father Wilkins Baker of Crowley two sons; Robert Baker Jr. of Carencro and Dominick Baker of Lafayette, daughter Tynaisha Baker of Shreveport, two brothers Tony Baker of Houston, TX and Gary Baker of Colombus, GA. Sisters Linda Baker George and Sandra Freeman both of Crowley LA. Grandchildren; Desmond and DeJuan Barnes and Damarion Baker.
