Robert Faul

Youngsville - Robert Faul passed away peacefully at 4:34 pm on April 27, 2025 at Lafayette General Hospital after a battle with lung cancer at the age of 69. His Celebration of Life will be held at Christian Life Center in Lafayette, LA on May 10, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Robert was born on November 3, 1955 to Isore and Lee Roy Joseph Faul in Lafayette, Louisiana. He worked at the Daily Advertiser in the 70's setting lead type for the newspaper and his love for printing was born. He worked in the printing industry for over 40 years, mostly self employed. He always said, "once you get ink in your blood, you never go back.” When he retired from printing, he spent his days gardening, raising chickens, and fishing. He was a great father, grandfather, mentor, and friend to many. Robert was known to always be willing to help a friend in need. Robert is survived by his mother, Isore Menard Faul; the love of his life, Donna Martin Thibodeaux; 2 sons Robert and Bryan Faul & his wife Loni; 2 daughters, Kesha Ybarra and Bridgette Faul; his brothers Donald Faul and his wife Gloria; Micky Faul; Dickie Faul and his wife Melissa; Brent Faul and his wife Mona; Easton “Joe” Faul and his wife Karla; sisters Julia Quebedeaux and her husband Jimmy; Agnes Wilson and her husband Bill; Lucy Webb and her husband Steven; Janet Ledet and her husband Rodney; June Faul; and 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Robert was preceded in death by his father Lee Roy Joseph Faul. Colligan Crematory and Funeral Home will be handling services.
