Robert Clayton Goynes

Walker - Robert Clayton Goynes, 44, departed from this life on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Oschner Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. He was born on September 16, 1979 in Alexandria, LA to Steve Clayton Goynes and Doreen Foster Goynes. Robert was a bricklayer in the early years of his life and later became a water technician for Livingston Parish. In his spare time, Robert could be found riding his motorcycle or watching football and wrestling. He was an avid supporter of the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. Robert also loved American flags and Eagles. Although Robert has departed from our lives , his treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of his friends and loved ones. Robert is survived by: his wife, Dakota Deaton Goynes, and their three daughters, Marissa Marie Goynes, Haven Reece Goynes and Eva Lynne Goynes; son, Travis Michael Goynes; son, Nathan Dallas Goynes; daughter, Zylee Rose McCann; grandson, Asher Scott Goucher; mother, Doreen Foster Goynes; brother, Donald Wesley (Cindy) Foster; uncle, Michael “Mike” Dale (Dedra) Wallace; aunt, Rita (Johnny) Willis; cousin, Sam Dupuy; cousin, Kayla (Keith) Demars and many other cousins, aunts and uncles. Robert is preceded in death by: his daughter, Jordan Alayne Luneau; father, Steve Clayton Goynes; daddy, Adam “Goose” Keith Maddox; grandmother, Geraldine “Jerry” McWilliams Wallace; and grandfather, Joseph “JW” Wallace.
