Arnaudville - A Memorial Service for Ronnie Calverette, 73 of Arnaudville will be held on Saturday November 12, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Opelousas, 3835 Interstate 49 South Service Rd. Opelousas La. 70570, with Pastor Joel Murrah officiating. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Ronnie was a outdoorsman, who loved to deer hunt, go frogging and fish. He was born on December 8, 1948 in Rosedale La. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, George William "Black" and Irene Johnson Friou and a sister, Connie Bolfer. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lanclos Calverette of Arnaudville, a son Freddie and wife Dana Calverette of Leonville, three daughters; Candy Calverette of Opelousas, Tandy Calverette of Port Barre and Michelle Talevich and husband James of Opelousas, brother, Lonnie Friou, of Port Barre, sisters; Lucille Bourque of Sulphur, Bonnie Ryder and husband Sidney of Port Barre; grandchildren; Damian, Nick and Devin Talevich, Blake Disotell, Keith and Paris Soileau, Ronnie Calverette, Jenna Ragas, Ashley Rockforte, Karli Melancon, Drake, Brant and Aubree Calverette and 19 great grandchildren.
