Youngsville - Services for Rosalind Elizabeth Gallet 69, of Youngsville will be held on Saturday May 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services, 121 Park Center St. Broussard, La. 70518. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday until the time of service at 2:00 PM. She was born on September 16, 1953 in Plaquemine La. to Clarisse Simon and Sadie Morales Rabalais. Rosalind loved life, family, grandkids and her great grandkids, she also had a love of horses. She is Preceded in death by her husband Karlan "Pookie" Gallet, parents; Clarisse Simon and Sadie Morales Rabalais, brother, Roland Landry, sister, Cheryl Brasseaux and a nephew Shawn Brasseaux. Rosalind is survived by her children; Kisha Gallet, Koleby Gallet and wife Kelli, Kasey Gallet and wife Sheri and Kain Gallet. Grandchildren; Karlie Cormier and husband Tim, Devin Vice and wife Britne, Braxton Gallet, Kylan Baudoin, Cooper, Kaden, Brailee, and Kaison Gallet. Great grandchildren; Stetson and Huxson Vice, her sister, Debra Legere and husband Ray, half siblings; Beverly Simon Guillory, Juanita Simon Delhomme, Dianne Simon Sonnier, Nona Simon, brother in laws; Tommy Gallet (Cindy), Troy Gallet (Karen), Kim Gallet and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and the staff at St. Josephs Carpenter House for the care they showed to Rosalind as well as her family.
