Roxanne Marie Royer

Roxanne Marie Royer, age 63, passed away on July 8, 2026, at her residence in Duson, Louisiana. She will be lovingly remembered for her creative spirit, her love of art and music, and the cherished memories she made with her family.

As a young girl, Roxanne was her brother’s shadow, happily following him everywhere—and he loved every minute of it. During her teenage years, she enjoyed taking her sister for rides on her motorcycle or in her Z28 with the T-tops off, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Roxanne was a gifted artist who could draw just about anything someone asked her to. Her creativity later led her to become an aerial photographer, capturing beautiful scenes and treasured moments. If you saw Roxanne, chances were she had a camera in her hand, ready to take a photograph.

She had a passion for all things vintage and classical, including the theater and classical piano music. She especially loved dressing her nieces in her vintage-style clothes and arranging photo shoots with them. Sleepovers with her nieces and nephews were filled with art projects, drawing lessons, crafts, and coloring. Through these moments, she shared her talents and gave them memories they will always treasure.

Roxanne is survived by her mother, Azelie Royer; her siblings, Ricky Royer and his spouse, Patsy, Karl Royer and his spouse, Cathy, and Rachel Broussard; and her nieces and nephews, Chad Royer, Bridgette Royer Brannon, Dina Lantier, Desi Broussard, Demi Broussard, Davin Broussard, Dusty Royer, Summer Royer, and Chelsea Royer.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Harry Royer.

Roxanne will be deeply missed, but her creativity, love, and the beautiful memories she captured will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
