Roy Allen Darby

Roy Allen Darby age 73, AKA ( Monkey) born on October 9, 1952 passed away on August 10th, 2026 at Lourdes ER in Scott. Mr. Darby was a native and lifelong residence of Scott and a self employed produce distributer. He was known as the family comedian as he always had a good joke to tell. He was always ready for a good time and was the life of the party! He will be deeply missed. Survivors include his companion of seventeen years, Sue Chiasson, his sons, Shane Darby, Dustin Bourgeois (Brooke) his daughter, Jessica Darby; his step children Tucker (Kristen), Tyler (Ashlyn) and Trey Chiasson and several grandchildren and step grandchildren; his siblings Annette Trahan, Robert Darby (Lois), Jeanette Kidder (Robert), and Derwin Darby (Del) and several nephew and nieces. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Monique Darby, his parents; Armond Irving Darby and the former Bernice LaGrange; three brothers, Ronald J. Darby, Charles K. Darby, and Terry W. Darby. The family would like to thank Marie and Boosie Zeno for all their support and help giving when needed. The family request visitation from 10-1 with a rosary being recited at 12 pm.
