Ryan Joshua Hollier

Mermentau – Ryan Hollier age 49. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ryan Joshua Hollier, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who died on November 12, 2024. Ryan was a longtime member of the First Pentecostal Church of Jennings, where his faith and commitment to his community were unwavering. Ryan’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren. His love for his family was boundless, and he cherished every moment with them. In addition to his love for family, Ryan enjoyed the great outdoors. He had a passion for boating, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He was always at his happiest when surrounded by friends, whether on the water, out on the road, or attending a local festival with live music, a tradition he held dear. Ryan lived life with a spirit of adventure, always eager to make memories with those he loved. Ryan is survived by his children, Ryan Hollier II and partner Chloe Veronie, Corey Hollier, and Jada Hollier and partner Dwayne Edwards; his siblings, Johnny Hollier and wife Tesa, Richard Hollier and wife Chris, Mindy Didonato and husband Mark, and Tamera Campbell and husband Neil; his grandchildren, Zae’sha, Drue, Dwayne Jr., Deannia, and Wyatt; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Ryan was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Hollier Sr. and Sable Hollier, and his siblings, Riley Hollier Jr., Loretta Benoit, Iris Hollier, and Carol Hollier. He was greeted in Heaven by those who went before him, and his memory will forever be cherished by those who remain. Ryan's passing leaves a deep void, but his legacy of love, laughter, and the moments he shared with so many will never be forgotten. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends, as they hold tight to the memories of the good times they shared. May he rest in peace.
