Sanders Joseph Falgout Iii

Lafayette - Sanders “Joey” Joseph Falgout III died on April 27, 2025 at the age of 55 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was born on January 26, 1970 in Houma, Louisiana to Janine Mary Adams and Sanders “Sandy” Joseph Falgout Jr. Joey was a graduate of Pine Prairie High School, class of 1988. He also received a degree in Engineering from the University of New Orleans. He had a long career as a radio engineer that brought him to live in multiple places across the country. He had a passion for HAM radio, wrestling, pyrotechnics, and musical instruments, the trumpet in particular. Joey is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Brunella Brunet, and his children: Jessica Hollier-Duhon (Josh) of Carencro, Louisiana; Kathleen "Kat" Martin (Michael) of Harvey, Louisiana; Marayna "Rayna" Garrett (Curtis) of Medford, Oregon; Logan Falgout of North Port, Florida; Evangelia "Lia" Falgout; and Gabriel "Gabe" Falgout. He is also survived by his sister, Tammy Morrison (Scot) of Waggaman, Louisiana; nephew, Geoffrey Morrison; and his cherished grandchildren, Cullen Graham, Wyatt Graham, Abbigail Martin, and Mikala Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Janine Mary Adams and Sanders "Sandy" Joseph Falgout Jr.; his aunt, Janice Adams Hartman; and his grandparents, Anthony "Tammy" Adams, Sanders Joseph Falgout Sr., Eloise "Louise" Savoie, and Yvonne Matherne. A private viewing of the body will take place for close friends and family, with further information regarding services to be announced at a later date.
