Shawn Granger, age 44, a beloved resident of Scott, Louisiana, passed away on May 20, 2025. Known for his strong work ethic and skillful craftsmanship, Shawn was a man who took pride in everything he built—whether with his hands or through the relationships he cherished. A devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints, Shawn’s passion for football was rivaled only by his love for the game of pool, where he spent countless hours refining his skills and sharing laughter with friends. His dedication, quiet strength, and steady presence made him someone others could always count on. Shawn was also proudly anticipating the birth of his first grandson. Shawn is survived by his father, Michael Granger and loving spouse, Renee Granger; his mother, Keigh Moore; his children, Shawn Granger Jr., Daylon Granger, and Lexi Granger (soon to be grandson, Sevyn); his brothers, Casey Granger and Daniel Granger (wife Brittany); his sisters, Amanda Stanley and Casie Smith; along with his two nieces and two nephews whom he adored. Shawn’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
