Staci was born on June 5, 1963, to Gerry Dauphine Tauzin and Eldrick “Tee” Tauzin. She was raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, along with her three siblings. She was married to her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Benny Soulier. She loved him without waver until the very end. She was a graduate of Ovey Comeaux High School and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana. “Stack” as she was fondly known to her closest friends and family was a jack of all trades, she could fix anything that broke. She loved working in her flower beds, cooking, traveling to the beach and the mountains, long Sunday drives with Ben, well let’s be honest… She loved anything that she could do with Ben. She was a girl of few words, except on chemo where she became chatty cathy, which was a shock to us. She loved without wanting anything in return, she just wanted to be sure everyone else was happy. Although she had no kids of her own, she and Ivy-Paul had a special bond, and both had an immense love of the camp. Talk started on Mondays about what we were cooking at the camp the next weekend. Stack would search the grocery circulars for the best deals, and whatever “cheap meat” she could find would be what Ivy would cook that weekend at the camp. Not only did she feed the “babbas” which is what the camp crew are called, but she always had a special treat for her 4-legged bestie, Sully, aka Tootie, aka, Pootie, aka Sully Sully. She was so good to him that he would cry to not go home with his “real” mom and dad. Staci is survived by her husband, Bennett James “Benny” Soulier; her father, Eldrick “Tee” Tauzin: her sister, Shelia T. Landry (Don); her brother, Clyde Tauzin; her sister, Tammi T. Robicheaux; nephews, Brennan Landry (Camille); Ivy-Paul Robicheaux (Lexi); her great-nephew Charlie; her great-niece Cecily Landry; her mother-in-law, Orenell Chauvin Soulier; her brother-in-laws, Eddie, Jerry and Charlie (Vickie) Soulier; her sister-in-laws, Renee Soulier Bellow (Jim), Mary Gilley (George); her niece Klaire Douet (Jean); nephew Adam Soulier (Jolie). She was proceeded in death by her mother, Gerry Dauphine Tauzin; her father-in-law Eugene E. Soulier; her brother-in-law Tommy Soulier and her nephew, Aaron P. Soulier.
