With a heavy heart, we say goodbye to Stacie Renee Landry Leblanc, who gained her angel wings on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Iberia Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Jeanerette before making her home in New Iberia, Louisiana. Stacie was a 1983 honors graduate of Jeanerette High School, where she was an exceptional student, honor roll scholar, and active member of the Beta Club. Later, Stacie worked at Fruit of The Loom in Jeanerette for 17 years. Stacie was most proud of her children, Kerri and Reece, who were the center of her life.
Stacie's favorite time of the year was Christmas, and she delighted in Christmas trees and buying presents. She was an avid reader who enjoyed crocheting and was known as a gifted writer with a lifelong love of learning. She never backed down from problem solving or writing an essay. A devoted fan of Elton John, she knew all the lyrics to his songs. Stacie took great pride in helping family, friends and animals whenever she could and had a deep love for her cats and dogs, who were her constant companions and brought her comfort and joy. She will be remembered for her quick wit and big heart.
Stacie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Keven Leblanc; her children, Kerrie and Reece Leblanc; her sister, Beth Landry Sonnier and husband Mike; her brother, Kenneth "Brother" Landry; her sister and godmother, Virginia Dooley Schexnayder and husband Rodney; her mother in law, Elaine Leblanc; her nieces, Godchild Kristi Metzel Bradley and sons Jaxon and Hudson, Lynzi Landry and sons Devyn and Datyn, Macie Landry and son Emerson, Grace Aymond and son Daesyn, Victoria Aymond and children Harper, Hayden and Autumn, and Raven Schexnayder Domingues and children Elena and William; and special friends, Vicky Thibodeaux Leblanc, Denise Verret and Karen Boudreaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Landry, Sr. and Dora Jane (Coonie) Landry; father in law, LJ Leblanc; niece, Hali Jo Metzel; and favorite aunt; Emma Belle (Pete) Hebert.
Memorial services and burial will be held privately.
