Terry Joseph Louviere

New Iberia - Terry Joseph Louviere, 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Belle Teche Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Terry his survived by his siblings, Alice Darby (Butch), Larry Louviere (Barbara), Diane Romero (Kenwood), Christine LeBlanc (Jerome), Lori Dore (Keith), Jack Louviere, Joann Coker (John), Judy Norman and Larry “Poochie” Louviere;along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Louviere; mother, Cecile Derise Boutte; stepfather, Larry Boutte; sisters, Lois Louviere and Nedral Fregia; and long-term companion, Debra Duplantis. Terry worked in several fields in his lifetime. He worked offshore for several years, also at Patterson Shipyard, then later in life he did several odd jobs, with carpentry being his favorite. The family would like to thank the staff of Belle Teche Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the care they provided to Terry over the last few years. The family would like to also thank Community Hospice for the care they provided over the last few weeks.
