Terry Kathryn Thibodeaux

Terry Chaumont Thibodeaux passed away on Tuesday August 1, 2023 in Lafayette, LA surrounded by loved ones. A mass honoring her life will be held on Saturday August 26, 2023 at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Lafayette, LA. Father Ravi Jampangi will be the celebrant of the mass, Homily will be done by Deacon Stick Thibodeaux Terry's Brother-in-Law. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service with a Rosary at 10:00 am. Terry Chaumont Thibodeaux was born in Lafayette, LA. She was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 65. Terry was a devoted mother, loving wife, cherished grandmother, caring sister and beloved sister-in-law. She was a remarkable individual who brought joy and warmth to the lives of everyone she touched. Her passion for life was evident in her love for chocolate, dancing, and beauty pageants, having held the title of Marigold Queen. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Mickey Thibodeaux, her sons Michael Thibodeaux and his wife Amy of Lafayette, Christopher Thibodeaux and his wife Deidre of Lafayette, Matthew Thibodeaux of Lafayette and her daughter Keigh Roberts and her husband Shaun of Lafayette; grandchildren, Rachel Thibodeaux, Kyra Thibodeaux, Connor Diaz, Ethan Thibodeaux, Kyan Simon and Remy Thibodeaux. Also left behind to cherish her memories, her sister Peggy Heintz and husband Jerry, Nancy Cronan and husband Trash, and brothers Charles Chaumont and wife Lynn and Scott Chaumont. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Roland and Verlie Chaumont. The Thibodeaux Family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the compassionate care of the entire staff at Our Lady of Lourdes of Lafayette and Calcutta House at Hospice of Acadia, as well as the care, love, and support provided from family and friends.
