New Iberia - Todd Dutile age 58, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, dedication, and passion for life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the St. Marcellus Church in New Iberia at 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held at 9:30AM with Inurnment to follow the services at Memorial Park Cemetery. Born on July 29, 1966, Todd was known for his infectious enthusiasm and boundless curiosity. He was a skilled carpenter who took immense pride in his craft, often going above and beyond to ensure that every project was completed with care and precision. Todd's kitchen was his sanctuary, where he spent countless hours experimenting with new recipes and perfecting his culinary skills. His passion for cooking was matched only by his love for watching cooking shows, constantly seeking inspiration and new techniques. Outside of his professional and culinary pursuits, Todd found joy in raising rabbits, embodying a spirit of hard work and dedication in all he did. His commitment to his family was unwavering, and he cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was a quiet evening at home or a lively gathering with friends. Todd is survived by his wife Michelle Dutile, son TJ and his beloved pets; Oliva, Sugar, Juliet, Stormie and Ella, his mother Susan Ann Romero Dutile, sisters-in-law; Jennifer McPeters and husband Don, Pamela Garb, nephews Chris McPeters and wife Emily and children, Andrew McPeters and wife Stacey and children, niece Kimberly Garb and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Desire Dutile Jr., Father in-law Fred Hermann Jr and mother and father in-law Dot and Eric Landry. Todd's generosity, work ethic, and zest for life touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of experiencing his vibrant spirit. His memory will live on through the countless meals he prepared, the projects he completed, and the love he shared with those around him.
